Founded in 2012, the Austin Scarlett design house is dedicated to the creation of fine wedding apparel and couture design, catering to the most refined women.

Austin balances his dedication to classic couture with the freshness of a contemporary artist.  Austin’s love of nature, and passion for art history and vintage couture, are transformed into gowns that celebrate the classic beauty of a woman.

The Austin Scarlett Atelier is one of the few design houses that carry the grand traditions of haute couture craftsmanship into the 21st century.  Every design is developed and created in his atelier under Austin’s personal supervision.

Luxury silk fabrics from around the world, intricate hand draping, and meticulously constructed corsetry give each gown perfect balance of lines that are the hallmark of Austin’s collection.

Every gown carrying the Austin Scarlett label is made-to-order, by hand, in the heart of New York City. This process involves precision hand cutting, highly skilled construction, and careful hand finishing. Before completion, each dress is inspected by Austin himself, to ensure each gown is perfect for his customer.

In Fall 2016, his collection of cocktail and evening dresses “Scarlett by Austin Scarlett” was introduced nationwide. Inspired by Manhattan after dark, the collection brings Austin’s couture esthetic to life for ready-to-wear.

Launching exclusively at Neiman Marcus, Fashion Director, Ken Downing celebrates the collection, exclaiming, "Cinematic Sirens!
